Collins, Henderson take district seats in General Election

Approximately 69.26 percent of Lincoln County voters cast ballots in the Georgia General Election on Tuesday, November 6.

In the only local races decided by the election, Brian Darrell Hender­son (R) received 50.31 percent of the vote to defeat incumbent Vir­ginia Tutt Williams (D) for the Dis­trict 1 seat on the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

Republican Larry Collins (R) won by 74.66 percent of the vote to defeat Xavian “Zay” Banks (D) for the District 2 seat.
