Elijah Clark Day celebration to be held Friday

Last year’s Elijah Clark Day celebration had a marching regional color guard and militia, led by State Color Guard Commander Bill Palmer of the Button Gwinnett Chapter Sons of the American Revolution, which combined to assembled vibrant flags symbolizing the strength and courage of those Revolutionary and American patriots. This same type of ceremony is expected at this year’s ceremony, slated for Friday, February 9, beginning at 10:30 a.m., to which the community is invited to attend.
