Lincoln County is applying for funding as­sistance under Title 49 U.S.C. Section 5311of the Federal Transit Act pertaining to ruralareas.
Lincoln County will offer general publictransportation to all citizens of Lincoln Countyfor any worthwhile purpose, including but notlimited to shopping, medical treatment, socialservices and other purposes.
Lincoln County solicits private sector inputand participation to assure that private for-profit transportation operators have a fair and

timely opportunity to participate in the devel­opment of this program.
Lincoln County also solicits comments andconcerns from the general population on localrural public transportation services.
Lincoln County also solicits comments andconcerns from the disabled population andtheir representatives to assure that issues relat­ing to the disabled are addressed in the servicedesign proposed during the planning process.
Interested persons are invited to requestthat a public hearing be held to discuss theservices being offered or development of theapplication.
