Ebenezer Baptist Church holds successful Pink Passion program

Ebenezer Baptist Church held its Fourth Annual Pink Passion Program on Sunday, October 22 at 10:30 a.m. morning worship service. Pink Passion is sponsored by the EBC Women’s Mission Auxiliary and is one of auxiliary’s community outreach initiatives for raising Breast Cancer/Cancer Awareness.

This year, three members from our community were recipients of the EBC “Light of Hope” gift. The “Light of Hope” gift assists in providing recipients with financial aid for expenses incurred for cancer treatment and care. Since the program’s inception, 12 people from Lincoln County have benefited from this program and the generosity of people who are “passionate” about pink!

If you would like to learn more about the EBC Pink Passion Program, please contact Darlene Murray Hite, program chairperson or Dr. Alyce Hawes, EBC women’s mission president.
