Upcoming activities planned at the MACK

Here is a look at our upcoming MACK events. Our Artisan Gallery shop is open Monday - Saturday from 10:00 - 4:00 if you need to purchase tickets, register for a class or find the perfect gift. l Community Threads, Thursday, September 28 / 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Regu­lar open sew session at Hickory Knob State Park. Bring your project and supplies to enjoy a day of sew­ing and sharing. If you are new to the area or want to know more about Community Threads, please contact Belinda at quiltingworkshops@gmail.com, or call 843-860-5403. l Dinner with the Masters: Mary Cassatt. Friday, September 29, 2017. This program is designed to entertain, educate and engage our community art enthusiasts by din­ing with the “Masters” themselves. The dinner program will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 beginning at 7:00 p.m. We plan to dine in the park, please dress for the weather. Tickets are on sale at $30 for members and $35 for non- members. Please note the time and ticket value change. Thank you for continuing to support the MACK! l Skip Shelton Studio Artists Reception will be on Friday, Octo­ber 6th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the McCormick Arts Council. l Sundays at 4 returns on Octo­ber 8th - Please consider a season ticket. l Barbara Hinkel’s Character Development Program returns in October for middle school students. Registration forms are available at the MACK and we are proud to an­nounce we have a scholarship fund for interested students. l The MACK High Tea returns on Tuesday, October 10 and Wednes­day, October 11th at the John Albert Gilbert M.D. House, also known as Bordeaux Hall and is a his­toric home located in McCormick County, South Carolina. The Dr. John Albert Gilbert Home is listed in the National Register. There are two seatings for each day, 1:30 and 3:30. Tickets are $22 and are avail­able in our Artisans Gallery Shop. Enjoy a variety of delicious savory and sweet items as well as a tour of the historic site. A very special thank you to Kibby Schipper for gracious­ly allowing us to enjoy the site.

MACK Annual Silent Auction. Please plan to pick up your winning items at your earliest convenience. Thank you also to the individuals that signed up to support our own talented MACK student Keshaunia “KeKe” Jackson as she plans to provide commission work to help offset her college fees in the fall. We will be contacted you soon to proceed with your projects.
