Floyd Marvin Speerhas

Mr. Floyd Marvin Speerhas, 74, husband of Mrs. Judith Ann Reinel Speerhas, entered into rest September 11, 2013 at Trinity Hospital.

A memorial service will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date. A memorial mass was held at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Thomson.

Marvin was a native of Industry, Pa.. but he lived most of his life in Lincolnton and Thomson, Ga. He was a retired mill wright, a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington, Ga. and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Additional survivors include a daughter, Amanda Speerhas (Joseph Keith Gay) of Thomson; stepdaughter, Lisa Reinel; step-son, Robert Converse; brother, Terry Speerhas; sister, Janine Welsby (Larry); grandchildren, Jazzmyn Strong, and Jaesa Strong; his dogs Precious and Snuffy; and his grand dogs.

In lieu of flowers you may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
