Mrs. Ella Kate Johnson, Augusta, Ga., entered into rest on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at her residence.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 20 at White Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Seymore Harrison, Sr., Pastor and Mr. Lewis S Johnson, Eulogist. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson was a native of Lincoln County, lived in Passaic, NJ most of her adult life. She was a faithful member and usher at White Rock Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, William L. Johnson of Augusta; sons, Randolph, Sam, Van and Billy; daughters, Vera, Claudia, Debb, Stacy, and Leslie; forty-nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Norris W. Gunby, Sr. Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
