Mrs. Margie Casteel, 65, entered into rest November 29, 2011.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13, at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Russell Gary officiating.
Mrs. Casteel was born in Cross City, Fla. and was the daughter of the late John Henry Fleming and Mary Ann Thomas Fleming. She had retired from Eisenhower Army Medical Center as a Uniform Business Office Manager and was of Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include her husband, William Clinton Casteel, Sr. of Lincolnton; a son, William Clinton Casteel, Jr. of Grovetown, Ga.; a daughter, Angela Marie Faglier and husband, DeWayne of Mitchell, Ga.; brothers, John Henry Fleming, Jr., of Florida and George Wesley Fleming of Cross City, Fla.; sisters, Dorothy Mae Fleming of Cross City, Fla., Eva Jane McCarty of Hinesville, Ga. and Nancy Adkins of Cross City, Fla.; two grandchildren, Joshua Lee Cauley, Hephzibah, Ga. and Ashley Marie Cauley, Mitchell, Ga.; one stepgrandson, DeWayne Cody Faglier and wife, Megan; and one step-great granddaughter, Chesnie Faglier.
