Faculty checking out new digs


Pictured is the front of Lincoln County’s new high school, located at 200 Charles Ward Elam Street, off of Metasville Road. The building measures 163,000 square feet and houses a gymnasium with stationary bleachers, an auditorium that seats 550 and features a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, four science labs, and so forth. Teachers, administrators, and staff are now busy moving to the new facility in preparation for the first day of school, Monday, August 9.
