Other awards given were the PE awards, Math and Science Olympiad, and Accelerated Reader Awards.

To recognize those students having a yearly average of 95-100, Ms. Marilyn Bell, principal of LCES awarded the Principal’s Honor Roll Certificates. Another special highlight of the ceremony was when the fourth graders, under the direction of Mrs. Barbara Boddie, choral music director at LCES, sang “Flying High,” “Great New Day,” and “We Are Family.”

Following the awards ceremony, teachers presented certificates of promotion to the 92 fourth graders who will be attending LCMS next year. Ms. Bell concluded the ceremony with words of encouragement and directed students and their families to enjoy a slideshow presentation created by the fourth grade teachers.
