Four-H’ers participate in DPA

Six Lincoln Co. 4-H’ers attended Northeast District Jr/Sr Project Achievement at Rock Eagle near Eatonton, Ga. on March 12-14. Project Achievement is where 4-H’ers select a project area, submit a portfolio of one-year of supporting material and present a 10 to 12 minute speech or demonstration on a specific topic. Northeast District Project Achievement had over 700 4-H’ers in attendance for this event. Lincoln Co. 4- H’ers did an outstanding job of competing against stiff competition. Hats off to our 4-H’ers and all of their hard work, time and dedication they put into their projects.

Lincoln Co. 4-H Project Achievement participants, projects and placing were Charity Drinkard – Food Fare, first place; Jamaul Hawes – Sports, honorable mention; Quardale Hogan – Festive Foods for Health, honorable mention; Joshua Partridge – Performing Arts Instrumental, honorable mention; Lura Schultz - Performing Arts Vocal, honorable mention. 4-H’ers were accompanied by the Lincoln Co. Extension Staff members Mr. Monte Stephens and Mrs. Martha Partridge.
