TO THE EDITOR

In the March 11th edition of The Lincoln Journal, on the topic of budget reduction measures, School Superintendent Randall Edmunds was quoted as saying, “You asked to see what the worst would be - let us work on it. The powers that be in Atlanta are the ones you need to talk to.”

It occurs to me that taxpayers should ask who they need to talk to about the 156% increase in local school taxes from 2000 to 2010!
