The Read and Feed is Thursday, March 25 at 6:00 p.m. The book to be discussed this month is The Shack by William P. Young. This book has been on the best seller list for several months and should provide some interesting discussions. The hosts for this month’s read and feed are Becky Strickland and Kitty Butler. Bill Updegraff is offering a 4-session watercolor class in the evenings – perfect for those who work or are too busy during the day to take his class. Classes will be held each Tuesday beginning March 30 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. You can take these four classes for only $80. Bill is a fantastic watercolor artist and an excellent instructor. The Taste of McCormick at the MACK dinner will be Tuesday, March 30. There will be two seatings for this event – 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. This is a six course meal with all recipes being taken from the Taste of the Arts in McCormick County cookbook. This is always a popular event so mark your calendars now. Where else can you get a six course meal for only $8.00? Clint Scott will begin his next art class on Tuesday, April 6. His classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday for four weeks. They are from 1:00 – 3:30 p.m. His classes fill up very rapidly so call the MACK at 864- 852-3216 today to sign up if you are interested. The eight-session class costs $108.

April 16 the MACK is featuring a “Spring Fling” dance in the park from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. It will be an evening of fun, music and dancing under the stars. What an opportunity to practice all of those dance steps will have learned from your dance lessons you will have had the opportunity to take!

Lynda Macaluso will instruct a Portrait Painting Class in watercolors beginning April 20. This is a 3-session class held on Tuesday, April 20, 27 and May 4 from 1:00 – 3:30 p.m. The cost of this class is $80. Lynda is an excellent watercolor artist and her method of teaching portrait painting is fantastic!

Jean Gale teaches piano lessons at the MACK on Tuesdays. Call the MACK to schedule an appointment with the instructor. The class fee is $60 per month (meeting once a week).
