The Monster Yard Sale to benefit the MACK is this Saturday!! Mark your calendar for Saturday, March 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The yard sale will be behind the MACK. Be sure to come look at all the wonderful things that will be for sale cheap! We probably have a “treasure” among the items at this “Monster Yard Sale” that you have either been looking for or perhaps haven’t realized you needed until you see it! Stop by on Saturday and check out the sale.

Helen Hutson’s Basic Art Class begins Friday, March 12. This class will be held every Friday from 10:00 – 1:00 through April 16. Helen’s class is great for anyone wanting to improve their drawing skill. It will prepare you for other art classes you may wish to take in the future. She is a fantastic. This six-session class costs $100. Call the MACK at 864-852- 3216 to sign up.

Ladies and gentlemen are needed to fill the Ballroom Dance Class at the MACK! Barbara Hinkel is looking forward to educating you in the wonderful world of ballroom. We want to fill a ten person maximum (5 ladies, 5 gents). A smaller group allows for individual instruction and proper partner rotation. Join us for fun in a friendly yet supportive environment to learn the Foxtrot, Swing, Waltz and Cha-Cha. Classes will be held every Monday and Wednesday from March 15 through April 7 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. The cost of this dance class is $80 per individual or $150 per couple. Call the MACK to sign up.

The book selected for the March Read and Feed is The Shack by William P. Young. The youngest daughter of Mackenzie (Mac) Allen Phillips is abducted. Evidence found in an abandoned shack in the Oregon wilderness leads them to believe she may have been murdered. Four years later, Mac is invited back to the shack by God. What he finds there will change his life forever. This book is sure to generate a lively discussion at the MACK Read and Feed on Thursday, March 25 at 6:00 p.m. Call the Mack at 864- 852-3216 for reservations now.

The Taste of McCormick at the MACK dinner will be Tuesday, March 30. There will be two seatings for this event – 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. This is a six course meal with all recipes being taken from the Taste of the Arts in McCormick County cookbook. This is always a popular event so mark your calendars now. Where else can you get a six course meal for only $8.00? Call the MACK at 852-3216 or stop in to purchase your tickets for this wonderful dinner.

Clint Scott will begin his next art class on Tuesday, April 6. His classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday for four weeks. They are from 1:00 – 3:30 p.m. Call the MACK to sign up
