Personnel from the Lincoln County Office of Emergency Services (OES) Volunteer Division (rescue) took
part in a crash victim extrication course held February 27 and 28. After completing classroom work at the
OES office, the volunteers gained some hands-on experience at the Norman Wrecking Company on C.E.
Norman Road, using cars donated by the wrecking service. In his comments, OES Director Casey Broom
thanked Junior Norman for his contributions to the course as well as the volunteers for participating in the
life-saving training. The course was sponsored by the Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA).
