A gentle and loving man, talented Lincolnton musician “Uncle Jimmie Justice,” plays his fiddle for the Lincolnton Adult Daycare. The Lincolnton Homeplace is located appropriately in the heart of Lincolnton. It wins the heart of all who enter - an adult daycare that sets itself apart from all others by the Lincolnton home town style and spirit it embodies.

Members are free to enjoy art, music, dance, games, and Bible study on a regular basis. Don’t tell but some even enjoy a story or two! It is a home environment so there is room for socializing as well as room for peace and quiet. Nurse Manager Beth Talbert and her caring staff consider the members an extension of family. It is hard to tell who enjoys the Homeplace more - members, visitors or staff!

At the Homeplace, members receive tender loving care that comes in many forms. It may be fellowship, helping with medicines, assistance with bathing or help with some other personal or medical need. There is no need to be isolated just because someone needs a little help. We have found that providing care and support to our members has actually lengthened the time they are able to stay in their homes independently. It can in fact, keep them healthier longer. It is a wonderful option for individuals and families. “A little of our support goes a long way,” says Ms. Talbert. “Besides all of that, we have a lot of fun!”

In addition to our activities, we serve southern home cooked meals every day. You can’t beat our fried chicken, vegetables and cobbler.

Stop in for a visit - we enjoy friends new and old. We will greet you as we do our members - “Welcome home, we’ve been waiting for you!” 3 4 1tp
