High school seniors from Lincoln and Wilkes Counties may apply for an honorarium sponsored by Lincoln- Wilkes Retired Educators Association (LWREA).

Students who apply must be planning to attend a college or vocational school for the 2010-2011 academic year and must write a 250-500 word essay on the topic, “The Importance of Furthering My Education.”

Applicants should provide a cover page with name, date, name of high school, and the name of the college or vocational school that they plan to attend.
