A new POW-MIA flag was recently hung in front of the Lincoln County
Courthouse by American Legion Post 194 veterans: (l-r) Dave
Heinfeldt, United States Air Force; Nelson Noble, United States Army;
and Dave Murphy, United States Marines. The flag is “the symbol of
our Nation’s concern and commitment to resolving as fully as possible
the fates of Americans still prisoner, missing, and unaccounted for in
Southeast Asia.” It is the only flag other than the Stars and Stripes to
fly over the White House in Washington, D.C.
