Registration for Lincoln County Little League Baseball and Softball is currently underway at three convenient locations: Farmers & Merchants Bank, Cliatt Crossing, and the Lincoln County Recreation Department on Rowland-York Road.

The deadline is Saturday, February 27.

The cost is $35 per child.

Depending on participation, the Little League Association is planning to offer the following leagues:

.. T-Ball, ages 5 and 6. .. Machine Pitch, ages 7 and 8. .. Minor League, ages 9 and 10. .. Major League, ages 11 and 12.

.. Junior League, ages 13 and 14.

.. Girls Softball, ages 8 through 16.

Skill evaluations will be held on February 27 for the Machine Pitch, Minor, Major, and Softball leagues. Players may drop by the Curry Colvin Recreation Complex anytime between 9 a.m. and 12 noon.

Official opening day ceremonies are scheduled for Saturday, March 20, with all teams taking the field. Team and individual photographs will be made at this time.
