Former Red Devil honored


Former Red Devil Ronell Ferguson was named the Top Defensive Lineman for South Carolina State University for his performance during the 2009 season. He also received the game ball as the defensive MVP against Delaware State. Ferguson and the South Carolina State Bulldogs went undefeated in the Middle Eastern Atlantic Conference on their way to a second consecutive conference championship. The Lincoln County native was the only sophomore to receive a position award at the Orangeburg Touchdown Club Banquet held Monday, February 8.
