Georgia M. Banks

Ms. Georgia M. Mahoney Banks entered into rest on Thursday, January 28, 2010 after an extended illness.

Funeral services were held at 1:15 p.m., Monday, February 1 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Lincolnton.

Survivors include five children, Lillie R. Lazenby (Ronald), Mary F. Murray, Gracy M. Barksdale, Alphonso Banks, and John A. Banks; two grandchildren, Dontressa L. Murray and Corey C. Murray; one brother, Ralph Ellis Mahoney; two sisters, Christine Mahoney and Gertrude Smith.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Georgia M. Banks to: Christian City Convalescent Center, 2nd Floor, Alzheimer’s Unit, 7300 Lester Road, Union City, Georgia 30291.
