Charlie Parks

Mr. Charlie Parks, 87, entered into rest on January 25, 2010 at Wills Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 30 at Ebenezer Baptist Church where Rev. Fred Perriman is the pastor and Rev. Roy D. Andrews is the eulogist. Burial was in Prices Grove Baptist Church cemetery.

Mr. Parks was a native of Lincoln County and a member of Prices Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Doris Partlow, Ruby Parks, Mamie Parks and Trudy (Joseph) Brown all of Lincolnton; a special nice Debbie Tutt of Lincolnton; two sons, Robert (Lillian) Parks of McCormick, S.C. and Donald (Dorothy) Parks of Lincolnton; eight grandchildren; a sister, Corine Flemming of Detroit, Michigan, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Norris W. Gunby Sr Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
