Trade show will offer training for construction jobs

A trade show will be held on Monday, February 8, from 4 until 7 p.m. at The Lincoln Center.

The event is being sponsored by the East Central Georgia Consortium (One Stop).

The purpose of the trade show is to inform individuals about the Energy and Industrial Construction Training slated to begin later this month.

The training will help workers acquire the National Center for Construction and Education Research (NCCER) credentials needed for many industrial construction jobs coming to the CSRA.

Applications for the training will be taken during the trade show, and participants will be scheduled for WorkKeys Assessment.

The consortium is looking for both experienced and inexperienced workers in the construction trade.
