Mayor Brown recognized

Approximately 200 people attended a reception honoring Mayor Henry Brown (c) at the Lincolnton Clubhouse on Sunday, January 31. Brown is the first black mayor of the City of Lincolnton. He is pictured here with Nelson Brooks, chairman of the Lincoln County Republican Party, and Emma Smith, chairman of the Lincoln County Democratic Party.
