Mrs. Mary L. Parks entered into rest on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Wills Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 24 at True Fellowship Pentecostal Church where Bishop James Ware is pastor and Pastor Elizabeth Harris is the eulogist. Burial was in the Harmony Baptist Church cemetery.

Mrs. Parks was a native of Lincolnton and a member of New Birth Holiness Church where she served faithfully.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Parks Jr. of Lincolnton; a son, Stephen Parks of Sylvester, Ga.; a daughter, Amelia Parks Wright of Lincolnton; her father; Willie C. Williams Sr. of Lincolnton; two sisters, Louise Lackey of Stone Mountain, Ga., and Bertha Williams of Lincolnton; a brother, Clarence Williams of Lincolnton; three granddaughters, Brianna Parks of Tifton, Ga., Bridget and Brandie both of Lincolnton and a host of other relatives and friends.

Norris W. Gunby Sr. Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
