Mary Ferguson, 85, of Marietta passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 10 at Fair Oaks United Methodist Church in Marietta with the Reverends Janice Oglesbee and Vermon Parmer officiating. Entombment was in the Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta.

Mrs. Ferguson was a member of Fair Oaks United Methodist Church and she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Helen Elizabeth Rowe.

Survivors include her husband, Walter L. Ferguson, Jr of Marietta; a daughter Linda Leahmann of Roseville, MI; a brother, Billy Dozier of Washington, Ga.; a sister, Mildred Tyler of Tignall, Ga.; two granddaughters, three great-grandsons, and four great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made tot he fair Oaks United Methodist Church, 1480 Joyner Ave., Marietta, GA 30060.

Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna was in charge of the arrangements.
