Marshall Leverett entered into rest on December 28, 2009 at Lake Crossing Health Care in Appling, Georgia.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 31 at Prices Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Marilyn Smith officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Survivors include a son, Paul Leverett of Lincolnton; a sister, Lela Mann of Dunnellon, Fla.; four granddaughters, Shanta Leverett and Angela Ware of Washington, Ga., Nutisha (Obtavius) Buchanan of Augusta, Ga. and Andrea Leverett of Lincolnton; six great-grandchildren, TeKia, Christopher, Octavius, Alexis, Isis, and Shannon; a special daughter Salina Leverett of Lincolnton, Ga.; four sisters-in-law, one brother-inlaw, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Norris W. Gunby, Sr. Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
