Mr. Roland Ray Corbett, Jr. of Remsen Rd. died Tues., Dec. 22, 2009 at University Hospital, Augusta.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Decenber 28, at Goshen Baptist Church Cemetery with Father Bill Williams officiating..

Mr. Corbett a native of Hackensack, New Jersey had lived in Long Island, N.Y. most of his life. After retirement as a bread salesman, he and his wife, Ida Marie, a former Rockette moved to Lincoln County.

Mr. Corbett was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Marie Corbett, a daughter, Lorraine Gunter and a granddaughter, Diane Bailey

Survivors include a son, Thomas Corbett and wife, Sally of Lincolnton; a daughter, Patricia C. Siegel, and husband, Dennis of Valley Stream, N.Y.; a brother, Harvey Corbett, New Jersey; granddaughters, Michelle Broome, Nicole Howard, Colette Duffy, Jessica Lathery, and her husband, Hubert Lathery Aeriell Corbett and greatgrandchildren, Brian Broome, Chris Broome,Tyler Broome, Shelby Bailey, Olivia Bailey, Jassamyn Howard, and Marissa Howard.
