Clinton William Faulkner

Clinton William “Clint” Faulkner, 18, died December 13, 2009 in Orlando, Florida in a motorcycle accident.

Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, December 17, at Main Street United Methodist Church in Greenwood, S.C., with Rev. James Dennis and Rev. Gerald Bohler officiating. Burial followed in Oakbrook Memorial Park.

Born n Greenwood, he was the son of Pamela Rogers Faulkner and the late William M. “Bill” Faulkner. He was a 2009 graduate of Greenwood High School and was attending MMI in Orlando, pursuing his dream of becoming the owner and operator of his own motorcycle dealership. Clint loved life and lived it to the fullest. His motto was “race, ride, live.” Clint loved God, his family , and his many friends. His other passions included water sports and dirt bike riding. He was fun loving (like his dad) and wanted to make others laugh. Clint was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to his mother of the home are two sisters, Heather Faulkner and Brooke Faulkner, both of the home; a paternal grandmother, Jean Faulkner of Greenwood and a maternal grandfather, William S. Rogers and wife, Janelle of Piedmont; aunts and uncles, Bunny and Linda Parson of Augusta, Ga.; Kim Kaplan of Piedmont and Rick and Paula Rogers of Simpsonville; cousins, Emma and Shane Rogers.

Pallbearers were Bryan LaFrancis, grant Gerrard, Blake Seymour, Sheldon Dove, Forrest Dove, William Ott, Eric Oliver and Michael Garrison.

Honorary escorts were Dusty Morrow, Dewayne Todd, Dustin Livingston, Larry Barker, Jack Griffith, Brad Hamlett, Jeff Kimsey and Ed Andrews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Main Street United Methodist Church, 211 N. Main St., Greenwood, S.C. 29646, American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1741, Greenwood, S.C.. 29648 or to the charity of one’s choice.
