Mr. Neal Jones, 54, of Thomson Highway, entered into rest Wednesday, December 2, 2009 in Elbert County, Ga.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 5 at Goshen Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Chapman officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Mr. Jones was a lifelong resident of Lincolnton and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He had worked for C.E. Minerals, Martin's Fireproofing and was currently employed by Wilson Industrial in Elberton, Ga.

Survivors include his wife, Robin; two sons, Jeffrey Jones and Christopher Jones; a brother, Eddie Jones; and father-in-law, Robert Cass, all of Lincolnton; his mother-in-law, Judith Lahr of Florida; and several uncles and aunts.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Victory Baptist Church, P O Box 710, Washington, Ga. 30673.
