Legislative breakfast to be held at Pope Center in Washington

The 2009 Annual Legislative Breakfast will be held Thursday, December 3, at the Pope Conference Center in Washington beginning at 8:30 a.m.

The legislators who have been invited to take part in the event are United States senators Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chambliss, 10th District Congressman Paul Broun, State Senator Bill Jackson (24th District), and State Representative Lee Anderson (117th District).

Reservations may be made by calling the Lincolnton-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce at 706-359- 7970. Tickets are $10 at the door.

The breakfast is being sponsored by the local chamber of commerce, Washington-Wilkes Chamber of Commerce, Wilkes County Family Connection, Wilkes County Communities in Schools, and Meagpower.
