Mr. Robert Ed Freeman entered into rest Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Thomson Manor Health Care Center.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 14 at Mulberry CME Church with Rev. George Glenn officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mr. Freeman was a native of Lincoln County, a member of Mulberry CME Church, and a retired Murray Biscuit Company employee.

Survivors include his wife, Susie B. Freeman, Lincolnton, Ga.; fours sons, Racy (Robbisteen) Freeman, Marvin (Brenda) Bennett, Robert Bennett, Augusta, Ga., Willie Neal (Dianne) Freeman, South Orange, N.J.; one daughter, Haroldean F. Harris, Lincolnton; eleven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

Norris W. Gunby, Sr. Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
