The Georgia Department of Labor's Augusta Career Center and the University of Phoenix will cosponsor a career expo for employers, students, and other job seekers in the area.

The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 19, from 9 a.m. until 12 noon on the Augusta campus of the University of Phoenix, located at 3150 Perimeter Parkway.

The expo will feature about 45 employers. Some will be hiring, while others will be discussing possible future employment opportunities with job seekers. Still others will be providing educational and other resources to those in attendance.

Applicants should bring plenty of resumes and be prepared to fill out company applications and interview for job openings.
