Members of West Side Elementary and High School Class of 1972 gathered together for fun, food, and fellowship on September 18 - 19, 2009. On Friday night, members greeted each other at Double Tree Hotel in Augusta, Ga. for an all you can eat seafood buffet dinner while enjoying a live jazz band.

A banquet was held Saturday at the Clarion Suites Hotel on Washington Road in Augusta. Enjoying the ban- quet with the class were teachers, Mrs. Evelyn Norman, Mrs. Mae Leatha Norman, Mrs. Frances Murray Gilbert, and Mr. Willie J. Harris, all who taught at West Side as well as principal W.E. Mason and Mrs. Rubye Mason.

Following the banquet, the members enjoyed dancing with class members and guests with music provided by DJ Lisa Cunningham.
