Mrs. Carolyn G. Dockery entered into rest September 11, 2009 at her residence.

Private memorial services were held Tuesday, September 15.

Mrs. Dockery, a native of Rutherfordton County N.C., lived in Lincolnton for many years. She was employed at Ingles Food Store in Washington, Ga. in the meat department and she was a Methodist.

Survivors include one son, Austin Dockery, Jr. of Lincolnton; one daughter, Angela Herrick and husband, Thomas of Lincolnton; one sister, Barbara Jenkins of Morganton, N.C.; one brother, Allen Goforth of Spindale, N.C.; and two grandchildren, Jennifer and Sarah Herrick of Lincolnton.

McNeill Funeral Home, Martinez, Ga., was in charge of arrangements.
