MR. KEVIN LEE SHELTON Mr. Kevin Lee Shelton, 30, of Rayle, Ga., entered into rest Saturday, August 15, 2009 in Rayle.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, at Rehoboth Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Russell Harper officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Mr. Shelton, a lifelong resident of Wilkes County, was an employee of Sherrer's Store, Rayle. He was also a firefighter for the Rayle and Washington Fire Departments and a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Sherrer Shelton; his mother, Catherine Fender; his father and stepmother, Ray and Jackie Shelton; three brothers, Charles Shelton, Nicholas Shelton and Levi Shelton; a sister, Martha Shelton; in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Brent Sherrer and Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Price; and brother-in-law, Will Price.

Firefighters of the Rayle and Washington Fire Departments served as honorary pallbearers.
