Upcoming events at the MACK

Judy Besier will be instructing a "scarecrow" gourd painting class on Friday, August 21 at 9:30 a.m. The cost of this class will be $25. Call the MACK at 864-852-3216 to sign up for this festive start to the fall season. There will only be room for ten students so don't wait too long to sign up.

Clint Scott will begin another Art Class on Tuesday, August 25. This will be an 8-session class which will only cost $105. As many of you know, Clint's classes are popular so you might not want to wait too long to call the MACK at to sign up for this class. If you would like to see one of Clint's classes in action, stop by the MACK this Tuesday or Thursday between 1:00 and 3:30 p.m. and see what his current students are doing.

The August Read and Feed will be held on Thursday, August 27 at 6:00 p.m. The book to be read and discussed this month will be "Three Sisters and a War" by Renata Schemmer. Renata is a resident of Savannah Lakes Village and will attend the August Read and Feed. This book is available for purchase at Books on Main for $8. It is very interesting and an easy read. You won't want to miss this one! Call the MACK to reserve a seat.

The MACK is thrilled to be able to offer another watercolor class instructed by Bill Updegraff. This class will begin on Wednesday, September 9 and be held each Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. for eight weeks. The cost of this 8-session art class will be $135. Call the MACK at 864-852-3216 to sign up.

Arline Fitzmaurice and Sharon MacLaren have arranged a fabulous High Tea in support of the MACK. Mark your calendars now for September 29 and 30. The tea will be at the home of Carol and Phil Bailey in "downtown" McCormick. There will be two seatings each day (2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.). The price is $20 per person. If you are hoping to be seated together or at the same seating, it is suggested you purchase your tickets from the MACK soon. Seats will be limited and will be filled on a first come first served basis.
