Mr. James Randolph Elam, entered into rest Monday, July 20.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 23 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis J. Quinn officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mr. Elam was a member of First Baptist Church where he served on the board of Deacons and was a United States Navy Veteran.

Survivors include two brothers, Moss Elam, Sr. and wife, Elizabeth and Henry L. Elam of Lincolnton; four sisters, Claudine Williams and husband, Willie Roy and Mae Frances Hall, all of Augusta, Ga., Mamie Jo Elam and Lou Ann Murray, all of Lincolnton; three aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Norris W. Gunby, Sr. Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
