Rev. Walton will lead homecoming at Goshen
REV. DONALD WALTON Rev. Donald Walton will lead revival at Goshen Baptist Church beginning with Homecoming on Sunday, July 26. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday and at 7:30 p.m. each night Monday through Friday. Worship through music will be led by two musical artists - vocalist, Jonathan Johnson and pianist, Peyton Moss.
Evangelist Donald Walton was born in Lincoln County and graduated from Lincoln County High School. He is also a graduate of North Georgia Technical and Vocational School, Clarksville, Ga.; Florida Baptist College, Graceville, Fla.; Louisiana College, Pineville, La.; and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, Mo. Rev. Walton makes his home in Oak Grove, Missouri.
Peyson Moss, a native of Lincoln County, is well known in the community for his musical accomplishments and continues to earn accolades for his performances. He is currently a junior biology major at Mercer University.
Jonathan Johnson is a rising junior at Mercer University's Townsend School of Music. He has been recognized in the area of classical voice by the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts (NFAA). Johnson has also taken first place honors at the Georgia National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATA) student auditions for the past five years.
