JAMES ALLEN HILLEY, SR. Mr. James Allen Hilley, Sr., 56, formerly of Lincolnton, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Heartland Hospice in Augusta, Ga.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 20 at First Assembly of God in Augusta with Revs. Baxter Stanley and Aaron Aycox officiating.

Allen was born in Lincolnton and was a plant supervisor with Mayfair Mills before moving to Augusta.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Clara Hilley and a brother, Jesse Hilley, Jr.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Alicia and Mark Coleman of Lincolnton; a son and daughter-inlaw, Allen and Kristie Hilley of Big Harbor, Wa.; five grandchildren, Brianna Coleman, P.J. Hilley, Nick Hilley, Joey Hilley and Angel Hilley; one sister, Brenda H. Blackmon of Lincolnton; and niece and nephew, Tarsha and Ryan Blackmon.

Elliot Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
