Lincoln Co. 4-H'er attends 2009 Georgia Junior Beef Futurity on June 18 - 20 at the Georgia National Fair Grounds in Perry, Ga. Over two hundred steers and heifers from across the state were on hand for this event.

Lincoln Co. 4-H'er Ivie Aycock made sure the Lincoln Co. 4-H Show team was well represented and was in attendance with her two heifers and one steer. Ivie kicked off the 2009 steer and heifer show season with a bang by winning the percentage Simmental Grand Champion heifer award. Judge Bruce Sterzbach from Ohio couldn't say enough about Ivie's champion heifer in all of her attributes as an outstanding heifer. Ivie also competed in the Commercial Heifer Division and the steer show and she walked away with two more third place ribbons for each division.
