Sara Frances Moon

Mrs. Sara Frances Moon, 82, wife of the late Frank J. Moon of Hwy 220 East entered into rest on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Wills Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services wiere held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 25, at Pine Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Thomas Moon officiating. Interment followed in the Palmer Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Moon was born June 21, 1926 in Danburg, Ga. and was the daughter of the late John Andrews and the late Mattie Findley Andrews Palmer. She was retired from Royal Manufacturing, a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church and was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include two brothers,Clint Eugene Palmer and wife, Marilyn of Newnan, Ga. and William Andrews and wife, Ann of McCormick, S.C., sister-in-law, Shirley Palmer of Moreland, Ga.; three grandsons, Eric Moon, Mitchell Moon and Robby Moon and seven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Moon was also preceded in death by a son, Jesse Moon; daughter, Janie Moon and a brother, Horace Palmer.

Serving as pallbearers were Earnest Moon, Robby Moon, Eric Moon, Mitchell Moon, Michael Moon and Curtis Palmer.
