Lincoln County 4-H'ers honored at banquet May 11
Lincoln County 4-H members were recognized for their accomplishments during the 2008-2009 school year at banquet on May 11 at the Lincolnton Clubhouse. Lincoln County. 4-H held its annual banquet recognizing its 4-H members and their accomplishments for the 2008 - 2009 school years on May 11, 2009.
Lincoln Co. 4-H has over 300 club members who have excelled on the county, district and state level participating in activities and events throughout year. This year's banquet was held at the Lincolnton Club house where 4-H'ers and their guest were treated to a hamburger supper. The theme for this year's banquet was "Catch the 4-H spirit".
Mr. Monte Stephens, Lincoln Co. 4-H & Ag Agent and Mrs. Martha Partridge Family & Consumer Science Agent presented awards to our outstanding 4-H'ers in Georgia 4-H activities and events.
Cloverleaf DPA - Xavian Banks, Will Crook, Emily Darling, Delexica Durham, Natasia Harris, Avis Hawes, Ashley Miller, Allison Moore, Ciera Norman, and Joshua Partridge.
Junior Senior DPA - Meg Ball, Tynecia Garnett, Jamaul Hawes, Macy Hill, Quardale Hogan, and Laura Shultz
Poultry Judging - Hi Individual (Lura Shultz), Will Crook, Sara Donaldson, Natasia Harris Avis Hawes, Jamaul Hawes, Quardale Hogan, Nicolas Ingram, Cole Logue, Mina Peavy, and James Young.
Lincoln Co. Livestock Steer and Heifer Show team - Justin Ashmore, Ivie Sue Aycock, Tanner Aycock, Bentley Beggs, Hattie Collins, CJ Goldman, Carson Goldman, Sadie Partridge and Dalton Tankersley.
Senior Showman of the Year - C.J. Goldman.

Community Garden Project - Debrianna Wright, Jamaul Hawes, Will Crook, Lura Shultz, Charity Drinkard, Mina Peavy , Cole Logue. Carrie Crook, Natasia Harris, Avis Hawes, James Young and Carrie Crook.

Special Awards Fifth Grader of the Year - Avis Hawes; Sixth Grader of the Year - Will Crook.
