Athletes recognized during awards ceremony May 14
Josh Bessinger (l), Matilda Watson, and Bo Reed captured MVP honors for tennis at the LCHS Athletic Awards Night held Thursday, May 14, in the school cafeteria. Approximately 300 people attended Athletic Awards Night held Thursday, May 14, in the school cafeteria.
The event was sponsored by the Lincoln County Athletic Booster Club in conjunction with the LCHS Athletic Department.
Guests were welcomed to the ceremony by Larry Campbell, athletic director and head football coach at LCHS.
Next on the program, the various teams were introduced to the audience by their respective coaches.
The remainder of the evening was devoted to the presentation of awards. Those receiving recognition were:
Varsity Baseball
Best Defensive Player: Crafton Reed.
Best Offensive Player: Steven Morris and Curry Colvin.
Captain: Zack Gray.
Coaches' Award for Leadership: Chris Leverett.
MVP: C.J. Jones and Dalton Tankersley.
