KATHERINE A. McKELLAR AND JAMES DEO STEWART Mr. and Mrs. Claude McKellar of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Alicia, to James Deo Stewart, son of Mrs. Karen Stewart of Dearing.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Drinkard of Washington and Mrs. Mary B. McKellar of Lincolnton and the late Coleman Groves McKellar.

She is a l999 graduate of Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School and a 2001 graduate of Athens Technical College with an Associate in General Business degree. Miss McKellar is currently employed by Augusta ENT of Evans.

Mr. Stewart is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Newsome of Thomson.

He is a l996 graduate of Thomson High School in Thomson and a 2001 graduate of Augusta State University in Augusta with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree. Mr. Stewart is currently employed by Wackenhut Services at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, S. C.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 13, at 6:00 p.m. in the courtyard of the Fitzpatrick Hotel in Washington.
