Dena Rene Garrard and Jeffrey Lane Cason were united in marriage at In Focus Church, Evans, Georgia, on April 3, 2009 at 7:00 in the evening. Pastor Brent Lee Garrard, brother of the bride, performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Garrard of Lincolnton.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Elizabeth Cason of Martinez, Georgia and the late James E. Cason.

Karla Garrard, sister-in-law of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Sonya Bailey, Melissa Mullins, Hillary Murrah of Au- gusta, and Pam Godwin of Godwin, N.C., all friends of the bride. Anna Joy Garrard, niece of the bride, served as flower girl.

Chris Cason, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Mike Ashe, Randy Braddy, Alan Rogers of Augusta, and Terry Skelton of Moline, Illinois, all friends of the groom.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at Savannah Rapids. The couple honeymooned in St. Martin and now reside in Grovetown, Georgia.
