Richard Benjamin Myers

Mr. Richard Benjamin Myers, 31, of American Ave., entered into rest in Lexington, S.C. on Saturday, February 28, 2009.

Funeral service were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at First Assembly of God in Lincolnton with Rev. Lanis Lewis and Rev. Terry Bonds officiating. Interment followed New Hope Church Cemetery.

There will be a memorial sevice celebrating the life of Richard Benjamin Myers at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at the Harvest Church in Lexington, S.C.

Mr. Myers was the son of the late Johnny Claude Myers and Cynthia M. Hartsoe. He was employed as a yard attendant at City Garage in Columbia, S.C. and was a member of First Assembly of God in Lincolnton, Ga.

Survivors include his mother, Cynthia M. Hartsoe and step-father, Jerry E. Hartsoe, Jr. of West Colum- bia, S.C.; brother, Lee Myers of West Columbia, S.C.; sister, Heather A. Barfield of Lexington, S.C.; stepbrother, Jerry J. Hartsoe of South Congaree, S.C.; paternal grandmother, Myrtice M. Poss of Lincolnton; maternal grandmother, Lillie M. Crawford of Washington, Ga.; maternal grandfather, John D. Crawford of Lincolnton; and nieces and nephews, Dianna Barfield, Emma Barfield, Sydney Hartsoe, Sierra Hall, Caleb Hall, Jonathan Hartsoe and Tyson Hartsoe.

Serving as pallbearers were Robbie Crawford, David Crawford, Phillip McGahee, Matthew Starbuck, Travis Starbuck, Jerry J. Hartsoe and Lee Myers.
