A mass food distribution, sponsored by the CSRA Economic Opportunity Authority, Inc., will be held Friday, March 6, at the Lincoln County Senior Citizens Center, located in The Lincoln Center on May Avenue.

The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. and continue until all of the food has been distributed.

The CSRA Economic Opportunity Authority plans to provide fruit, vegetables, canned meat, and juice to 100 families in the community. The initiative is for low-income and elderly individuals, who are residents of Lincoln County.

In addition to a picture ID, participants must supply the sponsor with the number of persons living in the household and the family's total monthly income.

The food will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
