Our cup runneth over

The Heavens opened and Lincoln County received close to six inches of rain Friday and Saturday, February 27 and February 28. The rainfall was so great that Thurmond Dam was shut down for nearly 48 hours, providing some relief to drought-ridden Clark's Hill Lake. Pictured is Dozier Creek, which flooded at least two acres of land on Highway 220.
