The MAPS (missions) team from First Assembly of God, along with their copy of the Lincoln Journal, recently visited Arequipa, Peru to work on a church building. New Life Christian Community Church in Mira Flores, Peru was destroyed by an earthquake in 2001, and the remains of the building have since been condemned by the city. The team from First Assembly helped with demolition and with constructing brick walls and columns to secure the new building. The church family in Mira Flores is very excited about having a place to worship!

The team is pictured here with some of the native Peruvians who continue to work on the site. There were 18 team members who traveled to Peru.
